Description
The design of the Deira Dubai site harmonizes modern architecture with the rich heritage and traditions of the UAE, creating a welcoming marketplace that celebrates Emirati culture. The space is curated into two primary volumes to guide visitors through a journey—open kiosks in one section and enclosed, climate-controlled kiosks in the other. On the second floor, private and dining areas are elevated, offering views inside the market and the surrounding environment. Light plays a crucial role, with angled roofs and aluminum screens filtering sunlight to foster a warm, inviting atmosphere. The rhythmic repetition of the structure enhances both the visual appeal and the flow of the space, while a linear grid ensures a seamless and comfortable experience for all.
